A new reign begins on the GW Amp site today. A new herald of the Site Manager title has been chosen and his name is Wyat_Hawke.
For those unaware, outstanding staffer/member Kanna recently stepped down as Site Manager for the site. In his departure, a new SM was sought to fill in the void. Kanna will be missed as staffer but I am pretty sure he isn't completely leaving the site. I would like to be one of the first to thank him for his time and effort he placed into the site on a daily basis. Also please give congratulations to Wyat in his new position for the site.
With Wyat taking over as SM, we are considering opening up to take on new staffers. Stay tuned for news on seeking out site assistance. If anyone has any questions feel free to contact Wyat or myself.

I received a message from Crickette today regarding Exteel. This message informed me of a news post at http://www.exteel.com and has news of the much awaited Open Beta! While there is no date announced regarding open beta as of yet, Closed Beta will resume soon! Then the open beta will begin. Here's the news post.
"Don't worry if the message boards have suddenly vanished—we've completed a message board wipe as we are getting everything prepared for the Exteel Beta. Yes, we'll be going into closed beta again before we head into open beta. Due to some back-end changes all game accounts have also been wiped, so everything will be clean and new.
Remember that all all previous beta testers will receive an invite to re-join us for beta, so don't fret if you see Exteel missing from your PlayNC Account Management page. All of this information has been backlogged and recorded."

Ampy Biography Contest
Who is your main character? Ampy wants to know. I thought it would be a fun Idea to have a little biography contest to see what you Ampers can come up with. Ampy wants you to write an autobiography for your character letting us know who they are from the point of view of your character. We are looking for edgy stories of how your characters came to be and why they chose to be either good or evil. If they have powers how they got them (where they born with them or were they gained from another means) and how do they use them (for good or evil). Did some dramatic event make them choose to go to the dark side or stand in the light? We want to know.
Prizes: Along with the 25pt credit, you will receive for your entry you will also get:
Grand Prize: Free Tee-shirt from the Gameamp Shop and 200pts Credit
Second Place 150pts Credit
Third Place: 100pts Credit

The Ampy Myspace Video Awards
Gameamp has decided to extend the Ampy Myspace Video Awards Contest to April 19th and offer an awesome new Grand prize . Everyone wants to win an Ampy. We are looking for some great videos to display on our Myspace Page that show the fun you can have during your game play experience. This Contest is open to all ampers and all Games featured on Gameamp. We are looking for Music Video style Videos showing off your favorite game. Videos should be at least 2 minutes long with a max of 6 minutes. The songs can be from any kind of music you like but please no foul language or explicit lyrics.
All video entries must be submitted by their creator . We do not want people taking credit for another’s work.
The Ampy Myspace Video Awards contest is open to all Ampers even Gameamp Staff. Everyone will be allowed 2 entries in the contest. We would like to see some great videos so get your Directors caps on and show us how creative you can be. All entries will receive the usual 25pts Credit just for submission and the following prizes for the Winners:
Grand Prize : 200 pts Credit Credit And a Chameleon Mega Digital Camera
Second Place: 150 Pts Credit and a Gameamp Tee-shirt
Third Place: 100 pts Credit.

We are thrilled to announce that we have reached another milestone for Exteel.
Closed Beta has just begun, and with it comes several key updates to the web site. You will get an idea of how the game is played, see some new concept art, and see a snap-shot of some of the deadly weapons that will be available from the Item Shop when the game goes live.

GameAmp and Guild Wars
GameAmp would like to say thank you to all of our staff who have made this site possible. As the information is publically released we will be
adding additional sections of the site that will contain information pertaining to Guild Wars. We will have all of the calender,
song requester, contest schedule and everything else to you as soon as possible. We are currently working
on a solution that will allow for easier readability and navigation than the current systems available on some sites. Since
this entire site is built upon a custom foundation of code we are able to add and deploy sections rapidly to bring you new content
as soon as it's available. For now, make sure you signup for an account so you can begin posting and contributing content to the
sites. If you think of anything you'd like to see then feel free to send a message to the site administrator. He is in direct
contact with the development team and, if he sees fit, can have custom areas developed for all you Guild Wars fans out there.

Congratulations of finding your way to the GameAmp video game network. GameAmp is a unique gaming network which focuses on promoting the users through a credibility system. Each site on the GameAmp network is devoted to a different video game. Located on the bottom right hand side of each site is a list of games which will take you to the site on the GameAmp network which is devoted to that video game. Once you have created and account on the network you may use that same account for all of the video games that GameAmp covers. Each site however has its own credibility points so if you want to become known for being a top contributing member, you’ll need to contribute to each video game site separately. You can, of course, always focus on your favorite game and you will still have access to all of the content located on the other gaming sites within the GameAmp network.
For instance, if your favorite game is Exteel then you’ve already come to the right place! The GameAmp Exteel site has all the latest information to get you started playing Exteel or to help you improve your Exteel knowledge and skills. With thousands of pages of information all devoted to Exteel you should have no trouble finding what you need. If you see something that’s not mentioned that is related to Exteel, then by all means post it! We’ll give you credibility for almost anything you post as long as it pertains to Exteel and a site administrator approves it.
